The Goblin Mask

An old leather jacket became a goblin mask today as a part of my latest project.

It Has Teeth!

In my travels I've encountered many strange, and inspiring curiosities. I came across this particular artifact in an old dockworkers shop up in northern Scandinavia. The man explained to me that it was a shrunken head used to word of evil spirits! I eagerly bartered it in trade for a pair of thick wool mittens. Although I purchased it as just a gag, I can now see that the small head in fact bears real human teeth! It appears the head itself however is composed of a blackened clay. I now have the specimen displayed proudly in my book case under glass.

A Wendigo Skull

I don't know quite what to make of it yet. I was attempting a venture at what a Wendigo's skull might look like. Several legends describe the Wendigo as a dark creature with large horns and black sunken eyes.

Apocalypse Leather Wallet

This afternoon I decided to make myself a new wallet. I wanted something simple that could clearly be recognized as being hand made. This piece of leather had great coloring and some very interesting ripples that I wanted to preserve in the final product.

A Beautiful Radio Tube

Radio tube

I couldn't resist posting a picture of this beautiful radio tube. There is something about these small devices that I find absolutely remarkable. They seem to be an intersection of technology and artwork.

A Dibbuk Box

I learned about the Dybbuk box during one of my visits to France this past year. Finding the stories both terrifying and intriguing, I decided to fabricated my own from an old wine box. I decided to add a pair of brass drawer pulls as a finishing touch. So far, no spirits have arrived to posses my box.
